Attorney
Sarah grew up in the Houston area, graduating valedictorian of her high school before going to college at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she received a full volleyball scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She returned to Houston to attend law school at South Texas College of Law – Houston, graduating in the top 25% of her class.
Sarah has practiced law for over 14 years. She spent the first 7 years in civil litigation and the last 7+ years working for a Fortune 100 company in its retirement division. A large part of her work involved supporting customers and their retirement assets, reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney (POAs), guardianship documents, and trusts, and handling beneficiary disputes. She also helped her company establish and support its elder client care team focused on protecting its customers and their assets through retirement. She drafted and negotiated services and vendor agreements, NDAs, settlement agreements and releases, and other legal documents. Sarah also worked with the business and compliance departments to draft, revise and implement numerous business and operational procedures, and developed and provided legal training to business teams.
Sarah resides in Kingwood with her husband and two young children, who are her pride and joy. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at her children’s school and in the community, working out and traveling.
